The Pearl is the set jewel of Tri Delta. This is used to symbolize the new members in our chapter because it is the one jewel that grows. It symbolizes the love our members have for each other, the white purity of true friendship and the beauty of spirit among us pledge members. Just as Tri Delta friendship grows stronger each year, pearls grow lovelier with time. The pearl develops from a tiny grain of sand into a symbol of great beauty and value. We believe that as a new member in our chapter, each woman will experience great growth and develop into the women she will be through the sisterhood experienced in being a Tri Delta. One pearl alone is pretty but when placed on a strand with other pearls the beauty of each pearl is exemplified.
The Pine Tree is the symbol given to the collegiate member. This symbol
represents growth and lofty aspirations. In being a member of Tri Delta each woman has the endless opportunities to experience and grow in service, scholastics, leadership and of course friendships. It stands for strong character, ever beautiful, stately and growing. The pine is straight and tall and gives the feeling of being deeply rooted. Once it was a small seed which attained strength with growth by being under the right influence, thus representing our collegiate members.
The Pansy is the national Tri Delta flower and represents the alumnae members. This also symbolizes
the third step in the lifetime development of Delta Delta Delta’s members. There is not one pansy that looks the same and so we use this as a symbol of the diversity and individual character seen in each of our members. We take great pride in each of our members and what each of them can bring to our chapter. Also with its open face always turned toward the sky, the pansy suggests tenderness in friendship. Such friendship is to be expected among Tri Deltas because they have grown under the influence of beautiful ideals and have had the opportunity to develop understanding and sympathy. It takes many years to achieve this growth.
The Dolphin is the official mascot of Tri Delta. It was considered a good omen by the ancient
Greeks. It symbolizes rebirth, friendship and leadership. To the members of Tri Delta the dolphin represents clear skies and smooth sailing and has special significance for Fraternity leaders.

The Trident is symbolic of Poseidon, the god of the sea, a ruler of the universe, and patron Greek divinity of Tri Delta.

The Tri Delta Flag combines three deltas, three stars, and the pine.

Our colors are Silver, Gold and Cerulean Blue. Green is also significant for Tri Delta because it is the union of the three colors.
The New Member Pin has three open deltas inscribed within an open delta and is made of silver with green enamel. It is worn during the introduction to membership and is returned to the chapter prior to initiation.

The silver Trident is used during the first degree of initiation and is returned to the chapter at the Stars and Crescent Degree of initiation. A gold Trident may be worn as a guard for the Stars and Crescent badge.

The Stars and Creasent badge is given to each of our members upon initiation. This is something our members take great pride in receiving for it shows true membership into our chapter. It is something that will stay with each sister throughout the rest of her life and remind her of the memories and commitment she made to Tri Delta. The badge is set with pearls and the three stars and crescent which are other symbols of Tri Delta.
The insignia of the Fraternity consist of the coat of arms and other displays of the Greek letters and the symbols of the Fraternity.
The coat of arms consists of a shield quartered, first and fourth quarters in blue on each of which is a silver trident, second and third gold on each of which is a green pine tree; above the shield, the crest, consisting of a torse with six folds alternating gold and blue, from which rises a white, gold and blue pansy; below the shield the motto, "Let us steadfastly love one another, " inscribed in Greek on a scroll.
