As with all sororities, sisterhood is the main aspect. That’s why we join the sorority. For the sisterhood, the support, the friendships that last a lifetime. For those of us who are far away from families during college, your sorority becomes your home away from home. They’re the ones that drive you to the doctors when you get sick, they are your shoulder to try on when you get a bad grade or the boy you were going out with turns out to be a jerk. Your sisters are your livelihood.
In Tri Delta, sisterhood is the main focus. Our “perpetual bond of friendship” translates to Delta Only events, where we go to the movies, ropes courses, and other events that are strictly limited to the members of Delta Delta Delta. The yearly sisterhood retreat has us travel to a surprise location, where we bond through different activities. The new member retreat, for the latest pledge class is a comprehensive bonding experience that brings the pledge class even closer than before.
