Epsilon Alpha Hisotry

  • Epsilon Alpha, our current chapter at Florida Gulf Coast University, began as a local sorority, Delta Xi, at FGCU on February 13, 2001. The original sisters wanted to make an impact on the community, and at the same time form a tight bond of sisterhood through social activities. Delta Xi was founded as a service and social based sorority whose goal was unity though diversity.  Delta Xi decided they should become a nationally affiliated organization.

After a very long process, Delta Xi made an executive decision to become Delta Delta Delta. Epsilon Alpha was founded on the Florida Gulf Coast University Campus in the fall of 2002. However, we count the beginning of Delta Delta Delta when it was chartered in 2003 with its first pledge class.

Currently, Epsilon Alpha has over 100 active members. We pride ourselves in being loyal to our fraternity, faithful to our chapter, and unselfish membership. As the oldest sorority on campus, we have grown and developed into a beautiful and unique chapter with leaders all across campus.
